I am Z. Hamilton Avery, LCSW, BC-TMH, CMT, CYT-1,000, TIYT, an independently licensed clinical social worker and owner of Therapy with Z, LLC. I provide individual telehealth psychotherapy to teenagers and adults throughout Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolina, and Idaho. My clinical specialties include stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, suicidal ideation, grief, chronic illness and pain, caregiver stress, and adjustment difficulties. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ affirming, integrating evidence-based psychotherapy, mindfulness, self-compassion, and mind-body interventions according to individual needs. My professional background includes outpatient psychotherapy, crisis intervention, collaborative care, medical social work, and hospice. I welcome referrals for individuals seeking compassionate, collaborative outpatient mental health treatment, including those navigating complex emotional, medical, and psychosocial concerns. Private-pay services and select insurance plans are available. Appointments are provided through secure telehealth, and emergency or 24-hour crisis services are not offered.
