Clinical bio

I am a licensed psychologist credentialed through PSYPACT and offer telehealth in 40+ states. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology and my doctorate from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology program at Adler University. I trained as a generalist practitioner and have been particularly drawn to working with survivors of trauma and have pursued additional training in trauma treatment, including EMDR. I work with adults who are holding many different worlds together and still feeling like they have little support. My approach to therapy is informed by Adlerian and Constructivist Theories, which understands an individual’s experience of the world based on his or her subjective and personal perception of self, others, and the world. I believe in using the therapeutic relationship to focus on your strengths and assets in order to empower you with the tools to live emotionally healthy and safe lifestyles. I strive to facilitate a trusting atmosphere through which to empower, inspire, and challenge. I bring a compassionate and curious approach to my work to effectively meet clients’ needs, sprinkled in with humor and wit. Some of my clinical areas of interest include trauma, loss and grief, identity development, interpersonal relationships, interpersonal partner violence/domestic violence, women's issues, perinatal mental health, and working with military families/soldiers. I currently provide individual therapy for adults (18+) virtually.
