Clinical bio
*alsolicensed in Michigan, Florida You are feeling exhausted from “holding it together” for everyone else. Maybe you’re living with panic that seems to come out of nowhere or sadness has taken the color out of your days. If you’ve experienced a traumatic loss of any kind—through illness, violence, or crime—you may feel like the world is no longer safe. Together, we’ll make sense of what you’re carrying and build practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control. I’m a Charlotte, NC–based therapist offering in-person and virtual sessions, and I specialize in helping people navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, mood disorders, and major life transitions. For over 20 years, I’ve also worked closely with individuals and families facing cancer, supporting them through the emotional toll of diagnosis, treatment, and loss. That experience has shaped how I show up: steady, compassionate, and unafraid of the hardest conversations. I use proven approaches like CBT and DBT, but more importantly, I tailor therapy to you. No jargon. No one-size-fits-all plans. Just thoughtful, trauma-informed care that respects your story and your pace. Grief and trauma are deeply personal. I consider it an honor to walk beside my clients as they move from surviving to healing. If you’re ready for support that feels steady, experienced, and genuinely compassionate, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. As an I LCSW work with individuals, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, medical illness, grief, and loss.My goal is to provide compassionate, research-based care that helps you create meaningful change and begin to feel better.
