I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located at Restoration Counseling Center in Concord, NC. I provide warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth therapy for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, self-doubt, communication challenges, and relationship concerns. My particular passion is working with couples who feel disconnected, stuck in unproductive communication patterns, or unsure how to find their way back to one another. I am Gottman Level 1 trained and have completed an Emotionally Focused Therapy Externship, with a strong interest in relationship dynamics, attachment, and helping couples create more secure and connected relationships. I work collaboratively with couples to better understand their patterns, improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another. I also work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, people-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, emotional overwhelm, and questions around self-worth. My approach is compassionate and practical, helping clients build greater emotional awareness, self-trust, confidence, and clarity while developing tools they can carry into their everyday lives. My style is genuine, approachable, and relationship focused. I believe therapy should provide a space where clients feel understood without judgment while also being supported in making meaningful change. I welcome referrals for individuals and couples who are ready to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling connections.
