Clinical bio

Hi, I'm Demi Garcia, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and bilingual therapist passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. My approach is attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and grounded in the belief that healing happens within safe, meaningful relationships. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen relationships, and create lasting, meaningful change. Outside the therapy room, I understand firsthand that life often requires balancing many important roles. As a wife, twin mom, employee, and private practice owner, I know how easy it is to become overwhelmed while trying to care for everyone else. That perspective helps shape the compassionate, practical approach I bring to therapy. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported, whether they're navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting, or simply trying to reconnect with themselves. For those who desire it, I also thoughtfully integrate faith and Christian perspectives into the counseling process, always honoring each client's individual beliefs, values, and goals!
