I’m Teinesha Smallwood, LCSW, and I’m the owner of Whispers of Serenity Counseling and Consulting, PLLC. I believe you shouldn’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide warm, compassionate virtual therapy for women, adults, and young people throughout North Carolina. I especially enjoy working with women who spend so much time caring for everyone else that they struggle to make space for themselves. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a safe space to slow down, be heard, and work through what you’re carrying. My approach is down-to-earth, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I use evidence-based approaches while meeting each client where they are. I believe your experiences, strengths, and story matter, and therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest without judgment. You take care of everyone else.
