Experiential Compassionate therapy for those that feel lost, behind, or overwhelmed

Raleigh, NC · Telehealth · In-person

Clinical bio

My journey to becoming a therapist started in an art room. I attended NCSU's College of Design, which led to teaching art for a few years. Teaching allowed me to find my calling as a therapist and consultant. I have pursued Certifications in Addictions, Somatic therapy, & the work of Dr. Brené Brown. I also have specific training in Emotionally Focused Individual and Family Therapy, as well as AEDP, an experiential therapy model that helps heal trauma through corrective emotional experiences. I'm strive to be a authentic, warm, and sometimes funny in our sessions. I want you to feel deeply seen and cared about each time we meet. I love working with people who have felt alone, rejected, like they're "too much" or "not enough." A few areas I specialize in include: complex trauma, anxious/avoidant attachment, healing from heartbreak, addiction (including love addiction), anxiety, & ambiguous grief. If you're life hasn't gone as planned, and you're struggling to find meaning, I get it. My overall belief is that one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process is the relationship between the client and the therapist. In providing a safe and non-judgmental environment, I encourage your own personal empowerment and growth through a relationship built on trust, respect, and compassion.
