I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MLADC) with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health. I believe effective counseling begins with building a trusting, collaborative relationship where individuals feel heard, respected, and supported without judgment. My approach is individualized, practical, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, co-occurring disorders, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies, and make meaningful, sustainable changes at their own pace. Through Distinctively You Counseling, I offer in-person appointments in Auburn, New Hampshire, and telehealth throughout the state. I am currently accepting new clients with Optum/UnitedHealthcare insurance and private-pay options. I also welcome referrals from fellow clinicians and healthcare professionals.
