Clinical bio

I am a practice owner, a compassionate therapist, and a proud mom to a neurodivergent teen.My experience as a mother to a neurodivergent child has given me a unique perspective and has inspired me to become a staunch advocate for mental health and disability rights in my community. I believe in actively listening to autistic adults, validating and learning from their lived experience. Many of my clients are late-diagnosed autistic and AuDHD (autistic + ADHD). I also work with mothers of neurodivergent children of all ages, holding space for their unique experience of motherhood while addressing their trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles. In my practice, I am committed to cultural humility, ongoing self-reflection, and continuous education. This commitment allows me to enhance my skills and ensure that I am providing the most effective, inclusive, and trauma-informed care possible. I have training in EMDR and various types of parts work, and I am pursuing certification in Somatic Experencing (estimated commpletion 2027). What does all of this mean? It means my approach to therapy is personalized and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I wear strengths-based goggles to every session, believing in the abilities and capacities of each client, while never minimizing their disabilities and challenges. You'll find I love to laugh, I love to listen, and I may even shed a tear. Outside the office, you might find me reading voraciously on my porch, taking a walk with my husband, planning my next trip, or touring a train museum with my son.
